Photo Booth Booking

Initial booking

  • A booking isn’t secured until a booking fee and a completed booking form has been received.

  • Once a deposit has been received a confirmation form will be sent via email to the client.

 

Price

  • All hires require a non-refundable Booking Fee of £100 to be secured.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full 30 days before the event.

  • If the remaining balance payment is late a charge of 10% of the total hire price will occur.

  • Payments can be made via BCAS, PayPal, Cheque or Cash.

 

Timings

  • We will arrive at the venue in appropriate time before the event starts to ensure correct setup of the booth (unless other set up arrangements have been agreed before hand).

  • The time period that the client has booked for the photo booth doesn’t include set up and take down.

Equipment

  • All props and equipment remains the property of ‘The Photo Shack’ at all times and should be returned to the booth by the end of the booking.

  • Any damages caused to the Photo Booth itself or any equipment including Props owned by The Photo Shack by the client or their guests is the responsibility of the client the cost of replacing the damaged item(s) is paid for in full.

  • Due to the size of the Photo Booth once set up it can not be moved!

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the space for the Photo Booth is: of easy access e.g. stairs or the distance from the vehicle outside to where the booth will be, the space is a suitable size for the Photo Booth (approx. 3m X 4m for the enclosed booth) (approx 2.5m high X 2.5m wide for the open booth) and has easy access to an adjacent power supply. If the spacing required to safely set up our equipment and operate during the hire period is not provided then The Photo Shack has the rights to refuse services to which a refund will not be provided. 

 

Electrical Fault

  • In the unlikely event of a technical equipment failure every attempt will be made to repair or replace the equipment as soon as possible to ensure the booth can be up and running for at least 80% running time of the booked time period.

  • If it is a printer failure guests will be advised to use the photo booth as normal and sign the guest book for the booth attendant to fill in when the printer is back up and running and the guests can obtain their images from the online gallery after the event. 

  • If the printer failure runs for the duration of the event then all images shall be available to download via our website for guests and a print out shall be made for the designated person in charge of the booking at an alternative time agreed.

  • If due to an un-resolved technical error that the booth has to be shut down or un-available for over an hour a refund may be given with consideration of the remaining time period of the booking (maximum of 50% of the total booking cost)

Safety

  • The safety of our staff and clients is important so if a situation occurs where our staff feel that a client or guest is endangering the safety of themselves, others or the equipment they will be asked to leave the booth.

  • If the situation isn’t resolved or escalates it is the decision of the Photo Booth attendant to decide to close and cease operation of the booth because of the risk to the equipment and safety of the guests.

  • STRICTLY NO FOOD OR DRINK INSIDE THE ENCLOSED BOOTH!

  • Due to the electrical equipment of the Photo Booth is an indoor only product, with the exception of a marquee (depending on the stability of the floor)

  • All of The Photo Shack’s equipment is PAT tested and we have the correct Public Liability Insurance. (available upon request)

 

Photos & Copyright

  • In the unlikely event that any images taken in the Photo Booth being lost or the file becoming corrupt the highest compensation The Photo Shack will give is £100.

  • The copyright of all images taken is the property of The Photo Shack, by agreeing to these terms & conditions you are giving permission to The Photo Shack to use these photographs for marketing purposes including: our website, social media and published documents.

  • The Photo Shack will provide a guest book but cannot be held responsible for the comments which your guests may choose to write inside.

  • The Photo Shack can use all images used for promotional purposes unless advised before the event by the event organiser that this cannot happen, this includes but is not limited to our social media pages and printed promotional materials.

 

Cancellations

Cancellation Fee’s are as stated as below:

  • A cancellation made less than 60 days before the event the full balance will be due.

  • A cancellation made before 60 days before the event 50% of the balance will be due.

  • ALL NOTICES OF CANCELLATION MUST BE MADE VIA EMAIL to

  • If an event is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions (we will always try our upmost to be able to attend an event but our safety and the safety of equipment is essential) then no balance will be due but a date change will be offered if the event is re-scheduled and we are available for the new date.

 

Legal

  • All of The Photo Shack’s equipment is fully PAT tested and the business holds the correct Public Liability Insurance.

  • The Photo Shack accepts no liability for any damaged or lost personal property, or any injuries from the use of the equipment. 

  • The Photo Shack agrees to not pass on any personal information of a client unless the client has instructed to do so.

 

By confirming a booking with The Photo Shack this means that you have read and agreed the Terms & conditions above.

 

Backdrop Hire

Backdrop Hire

​Initial Booking 

  • A booking isn’t secured until a booking fee & completed booking form has been received.

  • Once a deposit has been received a confirmation email will be sent to the client.

Price 

  • All hires require a non-refundable Booking Fee. The amount will be dependent on the package booked.

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full 30 days before the event.

  • If the remaining balance payment is late a charge of 10% of the total hire price will occur.

  • Payments can be made via BCAS, PayPal, Cheque or Cash.

Timings 

  • We will arrive at the venue in appropriate time before the event starts to ensure correct setup has been completed.

  • The time period that the client has booked doesn’t include set up and take down.

 

Equipment 

  • All equipment remains the property of ‘The Photo Shack’ at all times.

  • Any damages to the equipment including the frame and backdrops themselves owned by The Photo Shack caused by the client or their guests is the responsibility of the client the cost of replacing the damaged item(s) is paid for in full. This will be advised before the end of the event and invoiced for within 48 hours of the event finishing.

  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the space for the Backdrop & Complete set up is of easy access e.g. stairs or the distance from the vehicle outside to where the set up will be, the space is the correct size for the frame (approximately 7.5ft by 8.5ft) If the spacing required to safely set up our equipment and operate during the hire period is not provided then The Photo Shack & Balloontastic have the rights to refuse services to which a refund will not be provided. 

Safety

  • Public Liability Insurance certificates can be provided upon request of the client or the venue. Please contact us directly if you require this before the event.
